Most issues come from permissions, iOS Dictation/Siri settings, video processing being interrupted, or Photos access. The fastest path is to check the quick fixes below, then email us with your device and app details if you are still stuck.

Typical response time: 1–2 business days.
Permissions.
CueFrame may ask for these permissions:
- Camera: to record your video.
- Microphone: to record audio and support voice-driven scrolling.
- Speech Recognition: to match spoken words to your script.
- Photos add access: to save finished videos to Photos.
- Photo picker access: to choose image backgrounds.
If something is blocked, open iOS Settings, find CueFrame, and confirm the relevant permission is enabled.
Voice scroll is not moving.
- Make sure Speech Recognition permission is allowed.
- Make sure Siri and Dictation are enabled in iOS Settings.
- Speak the actual script words for a few seconds so CueFrame can match your position.
- If you ad-lib, voice scroll may wait until you return to words in the script.
- Use manual assist if the scroll is slightly ahead or behind.
Recording issues.
- If the record button is disabled, wait for the current video processing job to finish or cancel it from the processing UI.
- If Photos saving fails, confirm Photos add permission is allowed.
- If audio is missing, check Microphone permission and make sure the iPhone microphone is not blocked.
- If quality options are limited, your device or active camera format may not support that setting.
Video processing.
Keep CueFrame open while long videos are processing. iOS gives apps limited background time, so long exports may be interrupted if you lock the phone, switch apps for too long, or force-close CueFrame.
If processing is interrupted, open CueFrame and check the processing banner. If an export is still in progress, you can wait for it to finish or cancel it before Photos saving begins.
Photo backgrounds.
- Choose a background image from your photo library.
- A green screen is not required; CueFrame uses on-device foreground masking.
- Use simple lighting and avoid a cluttered real-world background for cleaner separation.
- Photo background replacement may take longer to export than plain recordings.
Billing and subscriptions.
If CueFrame offers paid features, purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy.
CueFrame is designed around local scripts, local recording, and local video processing. Read the full policy at cueframeapp.com/privacy-policy.
